PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Cem-FIL® 61 is an Alkali Resistant glass fiber assembled roving designed for use in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GRC) composites by both premix and simultaneous spray methods.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
In the premix process, Cem-FIL® 61 is chopped into small strands with high abrasion resistance. The fiber remains integral and this provides easy incorporation into the matrices and efficient workability.

Cem-FIL® 61’s new sizing technology reduces the water absorption of the fiber strand, allowing a reduction in the water content of the matrix, or an increase in the fiber content. In the spray process,

Cem-FIL® 61 has good split efficiency and easy chopping with low fuzz generation. Cem-FIL® 61’s hydrophobic behavior makes the mix more fluid and that ensures better compaction and easier release of trapped air.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Single-End Rovings are produced by pulling individual fibers directly from the bushing and winding them onto a roving package ready for shipment. The uniform distribution of a proprietary sizing system ensures an excellent resin-to-glass binding through uniform distribution of the binding agent. This results in maximum strand integrity.
Single-End Rovings are manufactured using the T30® Roving state-of-the-art technology of Owens Corning, in conjunction with statistical process control in manufacturing facilities certified to ISO 9001.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
R25H roving is specifically designed for use in filament winding and pultrusion applications in polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resin systems. R25H roving maximizes strand wet out, allowing superior mechanical properties for pipes made with a continuous process. Combined with Advantex® glass, Owens Corning’s trademarked corrosion resistant E glass, R25H roving enhances pipe life-time in chemical and sewage pipe markets. It is also safe for use in pipes used for water distribution.
R25H roving is also suitable for pultrusion of central stiffness members for fiber optic cabling.

SE 1500 roving is specially designed for use in weaving and knitting operations where end use applications contain epoxy resins (anhydride and amine systems).It is not recommended to use SE 1500 Single-End Roving with non-epoxy resins.
SE 1500 roving is designed for applications such as woven, knitted, and multiaxial fabrics or pre-pregs, where enhanced fatigue performances are needed,such as automotive leaf springs and windmill blades SE 1500 roving is also suitable for use in filament wound pipe, tubes or tanks
Advantex® Glass is an Owens Corning patented glass formulation, which meets ASTM D 578 and ISO 2078, as a boron free corrosion resistant E-CR glass fiber. Advantex® Glass has been providing superior corrosion resistance vs.standard E-glass, since 1996, leading to longer part life and greater service life strength in applications facing corrosion,opening new markets for composites and our customers. Advantex® glass fiber reinforcements combine the electrical and mechanical properties of traditional E-glass with the acid corrosion resistance of E-CR glass.

SE 1200rovings can be used in a variety of processes to manufacture knitted or woven glass fabrics, central stiffness members for fiber optic cabling, and filament wound pipe, tubes, or tanks. SE 1200 is designed to maximize fatigue performance in polyester resin. SE1200 is suitable for LFTP P Aapplications. SE 1200 is specifically designed to optimize performances with Advantex® glass, Owens Corning’s trademarked corrosion resistant E glass.
